Dr. Whitaker has been practicing dentistry in southern California for over 24 years. He and his wife have 3 children and 5 grandchildren, with one more on the way.

Hobbies:

Golf and competitive rifle marksmanship, which he has been practicing for over 47 years and has won numerous National and International Championships, including a Gold Medal in the 1979 Pan-American Games.

Patient Impact:

"Last year, I found a suspicious area on the back edge of a patient's tongue. I immediately called and set up an appointment for the patient to have a biopsy on the area. It was diagnosed as stage one cancer. His wife called to thank me for saving her husband's life."
